Water Purification

When one considers what the water companies are doing to our inland waterways and seaside areas with sewage purely for profit, how can their tap water possibly be trusted?

Tap water is very unhealthy not just because it contains fluoride in some areas of the UK, chlorine and lots of other additives poisonous to life, but there are a great multitude of pollutants that are just not removed from tap water by the water companies.

These include hormones from the contraceptive pill and Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). From tap water samples taken in the U.K. benzotriazole and tolytriazole were among the many chemicals detected in all 80 samples analysed.

As we are made mostly of water, it makes perfect sense that we should use the cleanest possible water we can find.

Natural water flows down streams, waterfalls and rivers. Many scientists believe that this movement not only helps to add natural minerals but also 'charges' the water in the Earth's natural magnetic field. This has been confirmed using cryogenic flash freezing of water and viewed using a dark field microscope. ` 

The Solution 

There are various ways to clean polluted water:

Filter jugs:

Activated carbon filters:

These can clear away certain organic contaminants that affect taste and smell. Some systems are also designed to eliminate chlorination byproducts, solvents, and pesticides, or certain metals such as lead or copper. 

Ion exchange units:

with activated alumina can extract minerals such as calcium and magnesium, which make water hard. These are often used in combination with another filtration method, such as carbon adsorption or reverse osmosis. 

Reverse osmosis units:

Theses should be fitted with carbon filters that can clear away nitrates and sodium as well as pesticides and petrochemicals. 

Distillation units:

They boil water within a sealed chamber and condenses the steam, creating distilled water. 

Our preferred solution is to filter our water using a 1-micron pre filter, an Aquasana Rhino EQ500 and finally a UK water filters V.O.C. filter. which provides water that I feel is pure enough for my family to wash, shower and bathe with. 

For drinking and cooking we then use a Pure Water stainless steel midi classic plumbed in steam distiller and Nikken pi mag optimizer to replace minerals and "recharge" the water for drinking. This is in my opinion as close to truly natural water that one can get without taking it directly from a water course. But then, how would one dare do that when the water companies are using our rivers and coastlines as a widespread bulk sewage disposal system?

Clearly there are significant amounts of a very common brown substance in our tap water. It is though sterilized by the chlorine added to tap water which destroys all microorganisms - including the beneficial ones within our digestive system which are crucial to health- our microbiome. It is utterly impossible to have a healthy body without a healthy well-functioning digestive system.

As to washing one’s body, if there is no whole house filter on the water pipe into the home a shower head filter which can be fitted between the shower hose and spray head is absolutely essential if one is to avoid the inhalation and dermal absorption of the myriad toxic substances within raw tap water. You will feel the difference in your skin and hair within a week. UK water filters produce a range of filter shower heads.
